Arrival of the teams between 1400 Hrs and 1500 Hrs. A welcome drink and refreshments will be offered near the helicopter by Mieke Garnaal. Thereupon the team will be taken to the crew reception for a general ‘logistics briefing’ by the RS40 and to go through the necessary formalities. From there on we move to the ‘Liefoord’a holiday park to check into our housing. In the late afternoon all teams will be picked up from the ‘Liefoord’ to go to the town hall of KOKSIJDE. A general briefing concerning the further course of the week, the necessary operational instructions (organisation air traffic, flight security, weather conditions,…) and the general rules will be preceded by an opening speech by the Commander of the base KOKSIJDE, Luitenant-Kolonel Vlieger Theys Rudy, and the mayor of KOKSIJDE, Mr VANDEN BUSSCHE Marc. Next, a small reception will be offered by the community of KOKSIJDE. To give the opportunity to get to know each other, dinner will be held in restaurant SISKA in KOKSIJDE. Due to the fact that the flying competition takes off the next morning, the expected time to return to Liefoord will be – at the latest – 2300 Hrs.
